I thought I'd do a re-cap photo post of everything that happened in January! This year is flying by already, and I couldn't quite believe that it's February when I woke up this morning. But things have been hectic already, and I already have many happy memories so far in 2013.
It all started with New Years Eve/Day spent getting merry with some of my closest friends. Followed by a trip to Nottingham with Luke and his family, saying goodbye as we both had to return to university for the next semester, finally handing in all my university deadline work (which took forever!), treating myself to a few pretty new things from Boohoo, baking once again to celebrate a friends birthday, those hauntingly beautiful frosty winter mornings, going to see Les Miserables with my mum and grandma, and dreaming about mine and Luke's up and coming trip to Belgium later this year.
Then I headed back up to Edinburgh to see Luke and friends there, had two fantastic nights out, laughed so much until my stomach hurt, went on winter walks in the snow around the castle, baked (another!) birthday cake for a friends birthday there, and took myself off sales shopping for the day.
Came home and decided to do my first ever studded DIY on some old high waisted shorts, which I'm more than happy about how they turned out. Pretty sunsets and relaxing with some candles to release some of the stress form uni work, more snowfall, cheer up phone calls, messing about on photobooth with the girls at uni, my first creme egg of the year (it's never too early!), visiting family for more birthdays, and getting to see a certain cheeky monkey, then finally, toying with the idea of cutting my hair short...again!
January also brought on a mass organisation of finding placements, work experience, and volunteering, and more importantly - putting myself out of my comfort zone. And now, I can't wait to see what February will bring! What did you all get up to in January?
